The results of the Hytale New Worlds Modding Contest have finally been announced! We’d like to take this opportunity to spotlight the well-deserved winners and reflect on this amazing event.
This was Hytale’s first modding contest. Our goals were fairly simple, albeit very important:
- Promote modding and celebrate our modding community
- Help us discover ways to improve modding
- And lastly, to find incredible talent within the Hytale community to hire, regardless if they were finalists or not. (More info about this at the end of the blog post!)
We would like to once again express our gratitude to our partner in this, CurseForge, who helped manage all submissions, moderation and logistics so we could keep our focus on Hytale.
We also would like to thank all of the judges who combed through hundreds of entries and narrowed it down to these wonderful finalists.
Finally, a MASSIVE thank you to all of the modders who poured their hearts and souls into their projects and submitted such incredible mods. Your work has not gone unnoticed. We appreciate every single one of you.

HIRING & FINAL THOUGHTS
As mentioned at the start of this blog post, one of our major goals for this contest was to find and hire talented modders from the community. Regardless if the participant was a finalist or not, our team is seeking talented, creative individuals who can push the boundaries of what is possible in Hytale.
In the coming weeks we will announce our job postings, so keep your eyes out for that. We will update this section once that is live.
We are grateful to our modders, players, and partner for making this first Hytale modding event so special. This is just the beginning - a first step, followed by many more. We are incredibly excited for what's to come, and we can't wait to bring everyone along with us!
